Johnson Controls New Zealand acquires Fire & Mechanical Contracting Ltd
AUCKLAND/OTAGO – (Apr. 1, 2019) – Johnson Controls is pleased to announce the acquisition of Otago and Southland based Fire & Mechanical Contracting Ltd who specialise in the testing, installation and servicing of fire protection systems along with providing HVAC and plumbing services covering maintenance and new installations.
“Fire & Mechanical Consulting have a strong foot print in the Otago and Southland area, with a focus on quality workmanship and a broad service offering including fire safety compliance and protection services”, says Brian Cohalan, Managing Director of Johnson Controls New Zealand.
“The acquisition will provide a wide range of services to customers wanting a one stop shop. Our strong alarms business in the area is now complemented with Fire & Mechanical Contractors strong sprinkler and mechanical business. Both companies also have a strong emphasis on looking after the customer, making this an easy decision for all involved”, says Brian.
