Johnson Controls and Tyco rebrand local operations to deliver broader market capabilities in Australia
Joint offering creates comprehensive suite of innovative building solutions and services
Johnson Controls has announced that Tyco Australia businesses are now operating under Johnson Controls, with selected entities rebranding to Johnson Controls. The local business integration follows the global merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco in September 2016.
Uniting Johnson Controls with Tyco brings smarter building efficiency solutions and leading fire and security offerings under one umbrella. This positions the company to offer the Australian market more opportunities to leverage its full spectrum of products, technologies and service capabilities.
According to Mark Shaw, Vice President and General Manager, Pacific, Johnson Controls, Australian customers will continue to be serviced by the same knowledgeable local team, which has an in-depth understanding of Australian codes, standards and applications. “The merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco has broadened our capability to provide customised solutions to the market, incorporating best-in-class controls, fire, security, HVAC, power solutions and energy storage for various end markets.”
